In conjunction with our first PLANETIIUM Embryology Course that currently ongoing, we took the opportunity to organize a symposium related to the course entitled “Embryogenesis Symposium”.  The 4-day symposium was held on 27th of February until 2nd of March 2023 at the Auditorium, Level 1, Institute of Planetary Survival for Sustainable Well-being (PLANETIIUM), Jalan Hospital Building, IIUM.

This symposium was an opportunity to explore the related technology in relation to embryogenesis. Through our lineup of expert speakers, we discussed the recent advances in assisted reproductive technology and implications of these technologies to our society. We also explored the implications of the ever-evolving technology on the ethical and legal point of views. It is an open platform for deliberate discussions and debates on reproductive technology amongst the participants.

This symposium aimed to disseminate knowledge and recent updates on reproductive technology and gain insights from different experts on any relevant reproductive technology issues.

Alhamdulillah the symposium has run smoothly. Many participants from various organizations and institutes had attended the symposium. We are very thankful for the participation, support and contribution of everyone involved.
