BASICS@PLANETIIUM: Biosphere Courtyard

BASICS@PLANETIIUM: A Scientific Symphony of Sustainability

Step into the Biosphere Courtyards (BASICS@PLANETIIUM), where this living testament invites you to explore the intricate harmony between humanity and nature. This interactive showcase seamlessly integrates permaculture, regenerative agriculture, and organic farming, forming a symphony of sustainable practices akin to a well-balanced ecosystem.

Aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), BASICS@PLANETIIUM centers around four main pillars: Biodiversity Conservation, Food Security, Health Empowerment, and Climate Action. Within each pillar, four real-time actions—Resurrect, Rescue, Reintegrate, and Restore—are implemented to contribute tangibly to sustainable well-being. For instance, under Resurrect, we engage in reviving native plant species to enhance biodiversity. In the context of Rescue, efforts are directed towards rescuing and conserving endangered flora and fauna varieties. Reintegrate involves the reintroduction of indigenous crops to bolster food security, while Restore focuses on soil rehabilitation through sustainable agricultural practices.

Therefore, BASICS@PLANETIIUM embodies a holistic and actionable approach to attain sustainable well-being, making tangible contributions to biodiversity, food security, health, and climate resilience.

OBJECTIVES
