Beach Cleaning Activities at Pantai Pelindung
A beach cleaning program was held on the last weekend at Pantai Pelindung, Kuantan, in collaboration with Petron Terminal Kuantan, SW Corp & Alam Flora. The event commenced early in the morning with a brief orientation session where participants were provided with gloves, trash bags, and safety instructions. Volunteers formed small teams, each assigned specific areas of the beach to ensure thorough coverage.
The teams collected a significant amount of waste, including plastic bottles & straws, cigarette butts, and other debris. Participants demonstrated great teamwork and a strong commitment to environmental stewardship. The event concluded with a debriefing session where the collected trash was sorted and recorded for recycling and proper disposal.
The program not only resulted in a cleaner beach but also raised awareness about the impact of littering and the importance of community involvement in environmental conservation.
