Educational Visit: Nursing Students from Hong Kong University at PLANETIIUM

PLANETIIUM was delighted to welcome two undergraduate students from the School of Nursing, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). The visit formed part of a broader academic and cultural exchange designed to enhance global perspectives among future healthcare professionals.

During their time at PLANETIIUM, the students had the opportunity to explore our research and innovation facilities, engage with academic staff, and gain deeper insights into our core initiatives centered on Planetary Health. They were introduced to a variety of ongoing projects that address critical issues at the intersection of human health, environmental well-being, and climate resilience.

Interactive discussions were held around the principles of Planetary Health, transdisciplinary approaches to global challenges, and the role of nursing and public health professionals in advancing sustainability goals. The exchange offered a valuable platform for sharing perspectives on healthcare systems, community-based interventions, and the importance of culturally grounded solutions in both Malaysian and Hong Kong contexts.

We sincerely thank the students from HKU for their enthusiasm and engagement during the visit. We hope this experience has been both enriching and inspiring, and we look forward to future opportunities for collaboration that promote knowledge exchange and mutual growth across borders.

Together, we move toward a healthier, more sustainable world—one partnership at a time.
