On 21 July 2025, SINAR@PLANETIIUM attended a Discussion Session on the Implementation of Special Care Programmes for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), held at Bilik Mentiga, Pahang Skills. The session brought together multiple stakeholders with a shared commitment to strengthening care services and workforce development, involving collaboration among:

• Elderly Division, Department of Social Welfare (JKM) Pahang

• QR Living Care Centre

• SINAR@PLANETIIUM

Key Focus Areas of the Discussion:

• Exploring the potential for collaboration in special care training programmes that incorporate essential technical and practical components

• Strengthening support from strategic partners, including both public and private sector agencies

• Working towards the development of a highly skilled workforce to better serve elderly and PWD communities
