Exploring Toxicology 4.0: Navigating Health and Environment
PLANETIIUM successfully organized “Exploring Toxicology 4.0: Navigating Health and Environment” on 10-11 June 2026, a two-day community outreach programme for primary school students from the Orang Asli community at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Mas. Through engaging and age-appropriate learning approaches, participants were exposed to the concepts of safe and harmful substances, the effects of toxins on human health and the environment, and the importance of responsible actions in protecting both people and nature.
A variety of interactive activities were conducted, including colouring and drawing sessions, simple scientific experiments, simulations, game-based learning activities, and chemical safety awareness exercises programme. These activities encouraged active participation while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and environmental stewardship among the students.
The programme featured contributions from distinguished speakers and facilitators, including Prof. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Lokman Bin Md Isa (PLANETIIUM) Dr. Redzuan Nul Hakim Abdul Razak (PLANETIIUM), Dr. Rozaini Abdullah (Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia), and Dr. Suhaila Rusni (PLANETIIUM), who shared valuable insights on health, toxicology, and environmental sustainability.
Overall, the programme successfully enhanced students’ understanding of health and environmental protection while inspiring them to become responsible individuals who contribute positively to a healthier and more sustainable future.
