PLANETIIUM Bubur Asyura Programme 2026
PLANETIIUM successfully organised the PLANETIIUM Bubur Asyura Programme 2026 on 9 July 2026, bringing together staff and students in the spirit of gotong-royong to prepare and distribute Bubur Asyura to the surrounding community.
The programme was held in conjunction with the month of Muharram, particularly in observance of ‘Asyura, the tenth day of Muharram, which holds significant spiritual importance in Islam. Across many Muslim communities, including Malaysia, the preparation and sharing of Bubur Asyura has become a cherished cultural tradition that symbolises gratitude, generosity, and the spirit of togetherness. The tradition also serves as an opportunity to strengthen community ties through acts of cooperation, sharing, and mutual care.
The programme served as a meaningful platform to foster unity, cooperation, and community engagement while preserving this valued tradition. Through the collective efforts of the PLANETIIUM family, the initiative strengthened the bonds among staff, students, and members of the surrounding community, reflecting the values of compassion, service, and social responsibility.
PLANETIIUM extends its sincere appreciation to all staff, students, volunteers, and supporters whose dedication and commitment contributed to the successful implementation of this programme. Their collective efforts exemplify the spirit of volunteerism and the importance of working together in serving the community.
May this initiative continue to inspire greater collaboration and strengthen the values of generosity, unity, and mutual care within the community.
