Alhamdulillah, PLANETIIUM, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in collaboration with Sustainable Business Network Association Malaysia (SustNET) successfully organized the Project GENIUS Pitching Session 2026, bringing together students and researchers to present innovative ideas that promote sustainability and planetary well-being.

Held at the Auditorium, Level 1, PLANETIIUM, IIUM Jalan Hospital Campus (JHC), Kuantan, the programme featured 13 teams representing various IIUM Kulliyyahs and Centres. The participants showcased a diverse range of innovative projects, highlighting practical solutions in waste management, circular economy, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, biodegradable products, green technology, and environmental education. The session served as a platform for participants to demonstrate their creativity, critical thinking, and commitment to addressing environmental challenges through sustainable innovation.

The pitching session was evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges comprising Dr. Norsaidatul Akmar Mazelan, Ms. Nadira Alia Kamal Azlan, Ms. Nur Syafirah Binti Mazlan, and Prof. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Lokman bin Md Isa. Their expertise and constructive feedback provided valuable insights that encouraged participants to further refine and strengthen their project ideas.
