We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the PLANETIIUM Japanese Language for Beginners, a 12-week course held from April 27 to July 27, 2026.

Organized by PLANETIIUM, the programme brought together participants from across the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), alongside members of the public, creating a diverse and engaging learning environment united by a shared interest in the Japanese language and culture.

Throughout the course, participants developed practical communication skills, including greetings, self-introductions, everyday conversations, travelling, shopping, dining, and basic Japanese etiquette. Beyond language learning, the programme also served as a platform to foster cross-cultural understanding and strengthen connections that may support future academic, research, and professional collaborations with Japan.
