INHART Research Ethical Committee

Among the objectives of INHART’s ethical committee establishment are:-

  1. to protect potential participants in the research, but it must also take into account potential risks and benefits for the community in which the research will be carried out;
  2. to promote high ethical standards in research for health;  
  3. to identify and weighing up the risks and benefits of a study (considering human subjects, animals, the community, and the environment)
  4. to recognize any financial or personal interests that may affect the research
  5. to evaluate the recruitment process and any incentives that will be given to the participants
  6. to assess the procedures and methods used I applying participants’ consent.
  7. to ensure that all the research activities are appropriately recorded and reported responsibly, honestly, and objective.
  8. to guarantee fairness, confidentiality, and privacy for all the subjects involved in the study—or at least full transparency about data-sharing in cases where absolute confidentiality is not possible.
