20^th September 2023 marked a momentous occasion as we had the distinct honour of Ke Bawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Pemangku Raja Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah visiting the Institute of Oceanography and Maritime Studies (INOCEM) Kampung Cherok Paloh. Accompanying His Majesty’s royal visit to INOCEM was the YAM Tengku Panglima Raja Kolonel Tengku Amir Naseer Ibrahim Shah. The Royal Highness’s presence brought an air of distinction and warmth to our facility. 

During the visit, we were deeply touched by His Majesty’s gracious act of releasing red tilapia fingerlings into our aquaculture ponds. This symbolic gesture signifies His support for our endeavours and strengthens our commitment to sustainable practices. We are profoundly thankful for His Majesty’s visit and the positive energy the palace entourage brought to our organization. Together, we continue to work towards a brighter, more sustainable future.
